The purpose of this document is to be the Product User Guide (PUG) for the data products produced by the ESA DUE GlobTemperature project, and has been developed to facilitate users in their exploitation of the GlobTemperature product suite. It provides the details of the harmonised formatting of all the GlobTemperature datasets, including the structure of the products, file naming conventions, metadata definitions and quality control information. This is key information for enabling the user community to better utilise the suite of GlobTemperature products being developed and disseminated via the Data Portal. Moreover, it provides support to users on best practices for selecting the data product they require, including limitations, and how best to read and exploit the data. It also includes information on GlobTemperature tools that are made available by the project to extract and download the data. A summary of how the data were produced and an overview of each instrument are also included for interested users.
