Further to the GDPR applicable since the 25th of May 2018, ESA has published theire privacy notice:

International LST and Emissivity Group

The International Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity Working Group (ILSTE-WG) aims to provide advice and recommendations to the wider scientific and user communities on the best practices for retrieval, validation and exploitation of Land Surface Temperature (LST), Ice Surface Temperature (IST), Lake Surface Water Temperature (LSWT), and Land Surface Emissivity (LSE).

Period of report: February 2016

The main activities in this reporting period can be summarised as follows:

  • Dates for UCM#4 in Lisbon have been finalised (7th– 8th June) – this will be combined with other community events:
    • A pre-workshop of the Elevation Dependent Warming (EDW) community (6th June)
    • A dedicated session of the SAF community during UCM#4 (8th June)
    • An internal progress meeting and a General ILSTE Meeting (8th June)
  • Implementation of new functions into the operational portal
  • First analysis of validation data from Lake Tahoe
  • Preparation of the production of 3 years of AMSR-E LST
  • Processing of Merged Product:
    • Merged LEO at local solar time
    • Merged GEO at UTC
    • Merged LEO at UTC
  • Processing of CDR
