Further to the GDPR applicable since the 25th of May 2018, ESA has published theire privacy notice:

International LST and Emissivity Group

The International Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity Working Group (ILSTE-WG) aims to provide advice and recommendations to the wider scientific and user communities on the best practices for retrieval, validation and exploitation of Land Surface Temperature (LST), Ice Surface Temperature (IST), Lake Surface Water Temperature (LSWT), and Land Surface Emissivity (LSE).

Period of report: October 2015

The main activities in this reporting period can be summarised as follows:

  • Most of demands raised during the UCM#3 implemented in the test server – migration to the operational portal delayed and now planned by mid-November
  • Development of algorithms for GlobTemperature “value-added” MODIS product with uncertainty breakdown consistent with the ATSR approach now complete
    • Processing in progress with subsequent upload to Data Portal
  • Ongoing refinements being made to the SSMI/ I AMSR-E algorithms, with the objective of improving the retrieval performances
  • Final report for UCS#2 on evapo-transpiration has been circulated
  • Start of MTSAT single-sensor database production and debugging
  • Visit of DG to IPMA: review of validation and inter-comparison results, uncertainty budget computation, revision of methodologies
