Further to the GDPR applicable since the 25th of May 2018, ESA has published theire privacy notice:

International LST and Emissivity Group

The International Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity Working Group (ILSTE-WG) aims to provide advice and recommendations to the wider scientific and user communities on the best practices for retrieval, validation and exploitation of Land Surface Temperature (LST), Ice Surface Temperature (IST), Lake Surface Water Temperature (LSWT), and Land Surface Emissivity (LSE).

Period of report: May 2015

The main activities in this reporting period can be summarised as follows:

  • First draft of the ILSTE-WG website has been made with a few first items populated; this will be first presented at the ILSTE-WG General Meeting on 12th June
  • Final preparations for UCM#3; current number of registrations
  • New functionalities of the data portal presented during PM3
    • All accepted Selection and extraction of data according to geographical criteria
    • Possibility to record areas of interest and to label them for later use
    • Repository to allow users to share their tools
    • These will be presented to the user community at UCM#3
  • Production and analysis of matchup files in harmonised GlobTemperature format for satellite-retrieved MODIS LST and station LST
  • The CCRR has been prepared and kicked off on June 1st
  • DEL-22 report and data uploaded onto the GlobTemperature Data Portal page for the CCRR
